Glass Buttons

Glass might seem fragile, but these glass buttons are actually quite robust.

Made to order in a colour to match your item, they are the perfect finishing touch to a hand knitted cardigan, or other item. They come as a set of 6. (although I could make you more)

Each button has 2 holes and are about 2-3cm long, although this can vary as they are handmade, this also means they won't be exactly the same either.

While the spotty buttons are my favourite, solid colours look great too. You can choose to leave them shiny or I can tumble them to make them matt. And because they are made from glass they have a presence about them that plastic buttons just can't match.

Because these are made to order, please allow at least 3 weeks, as they will need to be made and annealed before I can post them out to you.

As I've said above, glass can be more robust than you'd think, but you do still need to be careful. For instance, you can put them in the washing machine, but make sure you use a gentle cycle and turn your item inside out so the buttons won't touch the drum. And maybe don't add them to something you'd wear every day...
